For instructions on doing this, see the prior link to the Virtual Box manual in item 2. While Virtual Box Guest Additions are supported for Ubuntu Guests, you need to make sure the version of Guest Additions installed matches the version of Virtual Box you are running.
Notably, Arch Linux and its progeny are not officially supported. Shared clipboard / copy and paste between your Host and Guest requires Virtual Box Guest Additions to be installed on your Guest. Notably, Virtual Box 6.1.6 and later include a number of fixes. However, I'd note -ĭepending what version of Virtual Box you are running, shared clipboard functionality maybe buggy / broken. Well, you didn't include sufficient detail about your Guests and Host configuration, which will limit the assistance that can be provided.
